Watch Orion’s flyby of the moon during NASA’s Artemis mission | Science & Tech News

NASA’s Artemis spacecraft will arrive at the moon – and you can follow its journey by watching the live steam above.

The Orion capsule will reach the moon at 12.44pm (GMT) – sweeping 80 miles (130km) above the lunar surface, before entering into a larger orbit.

During the approach, the capsule will fire its main engine in a “powered flyby burn,” which will set it on course to enter lunar orbit four days later.
